(Education Jamshoro)
Education plays a vital role in social development and economic
growth of any nation. Education is necessary for career purpose
but it also enhances the understanding, wisdom and vision of an
individual.
Islam asks its followers to seek education. The first word of
Quran is “Iqra”, which means “Read”. One of the sayings of
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is “Seek Education even if it to be in
China”.
In the constitution of Pakistan, provision of education is
declared as the responsibility of the state. In our country,
government runs most of the education institutions.
Education Department, District Jamshoro is responsible for
planning, monitoring and evaluation of the education system at
the district level. Under the devolution plan introduces in
2001, many aspects of educational planning and management have
been decentralized and now district governments are responsible
for the development of education in their respective areas.
